Credentials:
Jody Green is a professional member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) as well as the OMTA (Oregon Massage Therapists Association). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University, Portland Oregon and her massage certification from Cascade Institute, Eugene, Oregon. She also completed a Massage Internship program at McKenzie Willamette Hospital, where she worked in Surgical Care, Adult and Children's Medicine, the Intensive Care Unit and Womens Health and Birth.
She is a certified instructor of the the International Loving Touch ® Foundation, Inc., Portland Oregon, teaching Lane County families the Loving Touch® Parent-Infant massage program. She is a current member of the OWA (Online Wellness Association).
Early in her training she contributed to community outreach programs providing massage at White Bird Clinic, Tour of Willamette Bicycle Event and provided pre-game support to the University of Oregon's Hockey team. Her experience also includes volunteering with fellow massage therapists at the National Masters Track and Field Event held at the University of Oregon.
She has taught the Loving Touch® Parent-Infant Massage program at 'Womenspace'. You might also be interested to know that Jody is the current AMTA-OR chapter Librarian and an elected alternate delegate to the American Massage Therapy Association 2008 convention.
She continues to teach and see massage clients at Whole Life Massage Center in Eugene, Oregon. Jody can also provide training to individuals and parent-groups at your location and can accommodate families who wish to receive training in the comfort of their own home.
